Who we are
Spade Avenue, Inc. (“Spade Avenue”, “we”, “us”) is a global sourcing and manufacturing partner based in New York City. We operate the website at https://spadeavenue.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us through our Contact Us page.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Contact form submissions – what you enter in our Contact Us form: your salutation, name, email address, phone number, the subject you choose, and your message. The form is built with WPForms, and each submission is emailed to us.
- Correspondence – if you email or call us, or reply to a message from us, the details you give us and our record of the exchange.
- Technical and usage information – your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the website that referred you, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described below.
We do not sell products through this site, so we do not collect payment card details, and the site has no customer accounts.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, discuss your project, and follow up on requests for quotes or information.
- To operate and secure the site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, using aggregated analytics (only where you have allowed analytics cookies).
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work and, with your consent, cookies that help us measure site usage. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button. Each cookie, its purpose, and its duration are listed in our Cookie Policy.
Your choices. You can accept, reject, or change your choices at any time using the cookie banner or the cookie settings button on any page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to reject analytics cookies.
Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to learn how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages and projects are viewed and how often the Contact Us form is completed). Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_CG7F8FREVP, which last up to two years, and collects information such as approximate location, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not share your name, email address, or the content of your message with Google. If you do not consent, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all. You can learn more about how Google handles data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Spam protection
The Contact Us form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that checks that a submission comes from a person and not an automated program. To do this it receives information about your browser and connection, such as your IP address. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Who we share your information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Website hosting: Hostinger.
- Email delivery: Brevo, which sends the emails generated by the site, including your contact form message to us, through our WP Mail SMTP plugin.
- Spam protection: Cloudflare, as described above.
- Analytics: Google, as described above and only with your consent.
- Professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers) where required.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others. If Spade Avenue is involved in a merger or sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content from other websites. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website, and those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with that content.
How long we retain your information
- Contact form messages and related correspondence are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward, including for any resulting business relationship.
- Business records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, the period configured in our Google Analytics property.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, receive a copy, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Contact Us page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we cannot delete information we are legally required to keep. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through the cookie settings button.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers (including Google, Cloudflare, and Brevo) may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted on this page.
